The corn flower or corn poppy is Poland’s national flower.

The children used finger painting to create these wonderful poppies.

The children made and coloured the Polish flag.

We practised the Polish paper cutting craft, called Gwiazdy. Yes, they look like snowflakes. Gwiazdy means ‘stars’ in Polish. This paper cutting craft typically has geometric designs and is from the Kurpie and Lowicz regions of Poland.
