Whole School Projects
On Wednesday the 14th of June, Keith Gammon from ‘Buzz Safety Road Education’ came into school to deliver Road Safety workshops to all of our children. The sessions involved role play and lots of discussion. Children and staff all agreed that it was a fun and informative day:
“The zebra crossing looks real. It teaches me to look left and right so I can cross safely” Malak Badgers
“It’s funny because the man is making me laugh when he said - I bet you don’t know the answer” Ameen Badgers
“It’s great to be here, it feels so good to learn about traffic” Ethan Squirrels
“It’s fun because you get to take part and help the man” Amelia Squirrels
Royal Society for the Protection of Birds Big Garden Birdwatch
On Monday 30th January children from across the school watched our garden in reception eagerly and helped to gather vital data to support the RSPB in their work to protect birds and other wildlife. We spotted ten different species of bird including a majestic red kite which soared overhead. All the children showed great interest and enthusiasm and were a delight to work with. We are very proud of them.
