At Foxdell Infant School our children are encouraged to be responsible members of the school community and are seen as having an important role to play in issues
that affect the school. The school council
plays an active role in presenting the wonderful views, ideas and suggestions of our children to senior management. Through discussion and team work we hope to make the school a better place. The council is made up of two representatives from each Year 1 and Year 2 class who are chosen by their peers.
Our School Council members are:
Ameen/Mayah - Ladybirds
Ayesha/Monoor - Dragonflies
Gurveer/Mahha - Butterflies
Inaaya/Aisha - Badgers
Uzair/Ruhab - Squirrels
Sabeeh/Saffa - Hedgehogs
|Well done to Foxdell Infant School for raising a fantastic sum of £520.06 by wearing red and white sporty clothes for Sport Relief.|
Our school took part in a special event. It was so fun for us! We had to make an Easter bonnet. We showed them off. One class at a time, every one walked around the hall and showed every one.
There were so many prizes!
The charity we gave to was Keech Cottage Hospice.
We all wore non-uniform and raised £200.49.

SC Charities 2015-2016
This year the SC have decided to support:
In November 2015 Foxdell pupils were invited to take part in a sponsored treasure hunt (devised by the SC) for Children In Need. The proceeds of this along with non - uniform day donations amounted to a staggering £1013!!!
A very big Thank You for your generosity!
On Friday 18th December 2015, children wore their festive outfits to take part in Text Santa. This raised £206. Well Done!
Why we did it
It was an annual fundraising event organised by the Deaf Health Charity Sign Health. We had a brilliant time singing and signing and raising money to help deaf children and adults in the UK and Uganda.
Who took part?
Children, their parents and Teachers. Every one took part.
Was it fun?
Yes, it was fun to learn sign language through music.
Uzair - Squirrels Class
At one of our first Council meetings, the members discussed the issue of lost property. Every year hundreds of pounds worth of uniforms and coats are left unclaimed.
If you look around the school, you should see the SC campaign posters for the 'Love it, Label it' scheme. We are hoping that this will encourage parents to label all items of clothing so that it can be returned promptly!
This year the SC Reps will be helping the school to support many wonderful charities. These include:
The school will also be getting involved with Unicef and supporting Guide dogs for the Blind.
We know we can count on your support, many thanks.
