Teddy Bear Picnic

Our topic is Toys and Butterflies

Our topic this spring term is Toys and Butterflies have been learning about where Toys come from in the world. The children worked in groups with floor maps to find where toys come from in the world.

London Aquarium Trip

During the 2nd half of the Autumn term, Year 1’s topic was Under the Sea.

We learnt about Hermit crabs and other sea creatures and we also learnt about the oceans and seas they live in.

For our fabulous finish Butterflies and the rest of Year 1 went on a trip to London Aquarium. We had learnt about penguins, stingrays and other sea animals. We all had a great time!

Our first week in Butterflies has been filled with activities to help the children settle into KS1 as well as fun learning. We have even had time to make Eid biscuits. They were delicious!
