On Wednesday 30th November the children learnt about the Jewish Festival of Hanukkah. As part of the celebrations the children went searching for the miracle oil, watched a Menorah being lit, tried on a Kippah and even had a go at playing with a wooden Dreidel!
A special thanks to our visitor from the Synagogue who helped support this event.
On the 20th October we held our Harvest Assembly. Thank you to Rev Kesterton for leading the assembly and all the parents who attended. The classes made hampers for Georgiana Residential home and the school council members were delighted to hand deliver these.
They met with the residents sharing stories, asking questions and guessing their age. It was a very rewarding experience and the children were very excited!
