"I enjoy being School Council because we go to different places."

 Eesa aged 6

The members of The School Council this year are as follows:

Sadiyah and Amaar (Badgers)

Zaina and Adyhaan (Squirrels)

Ridwaan and Nadia (Hedgehogs)

Eesa and Maya (Ladybirds)

Mustafaa and Laiba (Dragonflies)

Amaan and Afrin (Butterflies)

The school Council have already started Foxdells charity events. Once again this year our target will be £2000.

On Friday 16th September children were invited to take part in Jeans for Genes Day by wearing denim and bringing a £1 donation.

Coffee morning for parents was on Friday 30th September to support Macmillan.

Thank you for helping us raise £201!

We are hoping to take part in the monthly charity events to support worthwhile causes, such as; Macmillan, Children in Need,Slippers for Shelters, and the British Heart Foundation.

Thank you for your support.

Every year we accumulate bags full of lost property.

You may see posters around the school for our 'Love It, Label It!' scheme.

School Council would like to remind you to label EVERY item of your child's uniform.

Any labelled items can be returned to you.

Lost property boxes can be found in the hall should you wish to claim any unlabelled items.

On 18th November 2016 pupils raised funds for Children In Need. With generous donations for non-uniform day and the purchase of wristbands and other merchandise, we raised an amazing £660.40.

School council designed a sponsored treasure hunt and all pupils were invited to take part at home. We had an excellent response and children seemed to really enjoy the challenge.    Thank you so much!

Once again, the children of Foxdell have done an amazing job  learning British Sign Language to support Sign2Sing 2017.

Many of you joined our assembly to see your children perform and helped us raise a total of £73.22.

Many of the children at Foxdell took part in a nonsense poem competition as part of Red Nose Day activities. The funniest in each class received a prize.

Yet again, generosity was amazing and we look forward to updating you with the amount raised from non-uniform and the sale of red noses.

Thank you all for your amazing generosity and support for our chosen charities this year!

Your donations and purchases for Red Nose Day 2017 amounted to a staggering £614.01.

This means that we have managed to, once again, smash our £2000 annual charity target!

                                         Well done!

Well done to our school council 2016 - 2017.

Our school council entered the Speaker's Corner School Council Awards with their 'Love it! Label it!' scheme.

Unfortunately, we were not the winning school for our age group but you should all be very proud of our 'We made a difference' certificate and web badge that will follow!
